I'm a big Thorman fan, but with his recent struggles and Harris/Diaz doing pretty well in left - I'd like to see Salty get some starts @ first.

I still think we're trading him however.

How about Salty and Thorman for Teixeira

If Thorman didn't try to hit it out of the park with every swing I'd like him a lot more. He hustles more than anyone I've seen, he's great defensively and he does have the power to hit anything for a homerun. But if we do decide to trade Salty before the deadline, it better be for instant pitching help, if not a package deal for a very good player (like you mentioned).

I want to see him out there nevermind working him out. Thorman is good I agree but that big swing jhas to be corrected or traded away, we already have a big swinger in aj and it kills innings and even games we don't really need another one in the lineup.

I like the salty and throman idea for texiera. I'd make that deal another power hitting lh bat to insert in the lineup and gow with the core of youth we have in franc and mccann that would be crazy.
