Interesting matchups will be a good and important 4 game series, coming off the recent slide.

We get to try our luck against Rich Hill again tonight and we're already down a run 2 minutes into the game. Excellent.
It sucks going into a game against a team like the Cubs and not feeling like you have a chance unless you shut out the other team. Hill is good, but we make him look like a Cy Young contender. Same thing with Oliver Perez. For the life of me I don't know why they can't make any adjustments. They're actually getting worse.

Doesn't look good for us going into the bottom of the 9th. We need to win this series and turn things around very soon.

Another good performance from our starter that we can't take advantage of. Once again we catch a break with the mets losing.

I'm just going to take solace in the fact the Chuck pitched well.

Mets lead the division by 3.5 games.
Mets have lost 4 straight and Atlanta has lost 3 straight.
Nice one Braves let's just give the division away.

That is true but as long as the division leader is within 4-5 games this division will be up for grabs. For the first time in 14 years the division leader will not win the division by more than 10 game lead.

We are pretty much in an all out free fall - can't pitch, can't hit, etc.
Hopefully we'll have one "spark" game soon to pull us out of this.

We always hit Jason Marquis well so today should be the day to get out of this slump. Jason 0-2 against Atlanta and Timmy is 2-0 against Chicago.
