Journeyman Carlyle takes long road to majors (Article)

Post#1 » by HMFFL » Tue Jun 12, 2007 2:36 pm

After a two-year stint in Japan, Carlyle journeyed through the Kansas City, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Florida organizations, with only a 10-game major-league stint with the Dodgers in 2005.

Seven years later and still looking for that every elusive second major league victory, the 29-year-old Carlyle signed with the Braves in the offseason and was slated to join the Class AAA Richmond rotation.

Congratz hope he rides out the season and performs well. Besides they make it seem like the guy is thirty-something.

Looks like he has a pretty good chance to be a fixture in the rotation the rest of the year.
