Is under .200 for the season
How can he think hes worth so many millions of dollars when hes batting .199?!

I don't think Andruw has come out and said - yes I'm batting below .200 and yes I'm still worth at least fifteen mil next year?

JS confirmed on a sports talk radio show that Andruw approached him to tell him sorry for the way he's hitting and his contract year has nothing to do with it.

he absolutely 0 mechanics in his swing...i'm starting to wonder if he played softball everyday of last offseason cuz thats what it looks like

I think Andruw's biggest problem is a lack of balance at the plate. When he was going good the last few years, he was more silent at bat and could drive any pitch because of it. I think the best way for him to somewhat bounce back is to leave him at one position in the order, like six or seven, and work his way through it there.

I wouldn't trade Andruw this season even if he didn't have his no trade clause. Though he is struggling, his glove saves more runs than he gets credit for and his presence in the line-up is still important with a relatively young team.

I agree that flip flopping of spots in the order changes your mindset but he just looks lost at the plate. He's flying open on all his swings, he turned into a homerun/strikeout hitter.

I agree but in years past he would hit to the gaps and the opposite field, now forget about it. It just hurts to watch him up and the pitches he's swinging at. He reminds me of Franceour when he first came up, where pitchers would through near the plate and expect him to chase unfortunately AJ has now gone that route.
