Magowan stated on KNBR radio in San Francisco this morning, that he feels Barry Bonds is missing a marvelous opportunity to thank the fans, by choosing not to participate in the All-Star Home Run Derby next week.

Would it change how you view Barry if he did participate?

No I dont think it would make a difference, People already have an opinion of him and whether or not it bothers them or not and I dont think him participating in the HomeRun Derby will change the opinion of either side.

And to be honest its prolly smarter of him not to bc then we would prolly even here more steroid talk during the Derby and if not for sure after it.
