Yunel Escobar or Kelly Johnson

Who do you prefer to start and why?

You can't go wrong with either and they both deserve to be starting. Kind of like Diaz and Harris. At this point I think I like Johnson at little better, more practice at 2nd and more pop in his bat, but Escobar hasn't had quite the opportunity (to prove himself or go into a slump) that Johnson has.

yeah i think johnson should start, with yunel giving chipper, renty, and kelly days off every now and then....

I will choose Kelly Johnson on this one. Yunel is a very good back up players for the Braves middle infield and Chipper Jones. But Kelly Johnson is a very good all around player, and I think is better than Yunel.

I think Kelly Johnson should get he starting role. He has got a little more pop than Yunel and he has way more experience. Kelly can hit some homeruns while Yunel is someone who will consistently hit base knocks. Yunel makes for a really good pinch hitter though when the games on the line, he'll probably come through with a base knock.
