He would definitely improve our team but I would hate to see Satly go for a one year rental. I heard JS about a month ago on a sports talk radio show talking how he wouldn't move Satly for a one year rental, unless he knew the player would be resigned, so it's going to be interesting to see what happens.

We can't include Jo-Jo in any trade talks. I am starting to like this kid stuff and he is only 22 and a lefty. Throw in another minor league arm. I am sure we can hype another can't miss minor league pitcher in the next few hours and get the Rangers to take him. If the Braves can re-sign Tex(ownership situation is now settle) then go for it. I am tired of seeing Julio start.

"The Rangers certainly have interest in him and are asking for two additional prospects, with the necessity of one of them being a starting pitcher."
"While there has been talk of 18-year-old phenom Elvis Andrus being one of the pieces to the potential Teixeira deal, one Major League scout indicated Brent Lillibridge would be the more likely Braves Minor League shortstop to be shipped to Texas."
"As for starting pitchers, the Braves may be more apt to move Matt Harrision than Jo-Jo Reyes, who is slated to make his fourth Major League start Friday. Harrison, a 22-year-old southpaw who entered this season as the club's top pitching prospect, is 5-7 with a 3.39 ERA in 20 starts for Mississippi."
salty, lillibridge, harrison for tex sounds great to me....
