Hampton reports no discomfort in throwing session

Left-hander Mike Hampton traveled with the Braves to New York and played catch at 45 feet Wednesday. He began throwing last week and said there was no discomfort in his twice-surgically repaired elbow.

If I was making as much as he is then my arm would be feeling just fine.

He's going to play Winter Ball, but thats really just more opportunity for him to get hurt.

I like Hampton, he can't help it that he's been hurt.



dude is a great competitor and seems like a good teammate (not to mention he was a pretty good pitcher when he got hurt).

I have always like Mike and whenever it seemed he was starting to find his groove, he gets hurt again. I hope he can make it back, but I won't be holding my breath either.

same here, I like Hampton. he just has the worst luck. seems when he finds his groove and gets back on track he gets hurt again.
