You mean that the Braves are going to win the division?!? Well if Steve Phillips said it, it must be true. I'm on my way to Vegas to put mortgage money on the Braves

Seriously, disgruntled former employees don't make good objective analysts...

I thought that was sound reasoning before this past weekend. But we do control our own destiny...nobody's going to take it from us, we have to give it away...

Yes, must be tough to beat the worst team in all baseball at home with both of your best pitchers going up against bums.

Pedro can't even pitch well vs an( A )Team. Keep dreaming on him come back to save your season.

Braves will take back what their's the NL East Division Title!

You're right, Nostradamus. I concede.

If you know anything about how pitchers rehab, you'd know that this is spring training for Pedro. It's his second rehab outing - he's throwing as opposed to pitching. But I like your cockiness. It'll make it that much sweeter when I come back here in October if/when we win the division...

Chipper with the winner! I love the top of our order. Even without Renteria.

And I don't care if we win the division (even though we should) as long as we win the wild card. I know we can (and have) beat any team we'll see in the playoffs, especially the Mets.

I'd give my first born child to satan for a chance to play the Mets in the postseason.

How awesome is Wickman?

I think Moylan needs to close from now on.

Smoltz probably wants to punch Wickman in the face. He should have like 13-15 wins for the season right now.

Still we won. It's hard to believe our bullpen is almost as bad as it was the past two seasons, even with all of the supposed improvements we've made in that department.

As for last night, Smoltz should just feel lucky he even had a chance to win because he was far from on top of his game. However, there is a problem with Wickman closing. First it was just in road games, but now he has done it at home. If Dotel was healthy, I would think about the move, but for right now, the Braves should just try to ride it out.

Angel Hernandez is a huge douche. Seems like something happens every time he has one of our games.

Good win tonight, Hudson was great as usual (on the offensive side as well!). Wickman let two guys get on base in the 9th (grrrrrr), but ended up with the save.

I really don't want Wickman closing on the road in the playoffs.
