we should take 2 of 3, unless we played like we did in the Reds series.

It was a good start to the series tonight. Too bad we can't always get our starters to give us eight strong. Smoltz was excellent again tonight.

Sucks their big inning was started thanks to an illegal bunt single. But Rolen gave Andruw a chance at the end and as usual he blew it. It's amazing how he can make such a great defensive play one inning and strike out to end the game the next.

The Braves just can't get the job done! There starting pitching is awfull, and the bullpen is decent. There pitching staff is not one who will get you into the post season.

The Braves offense is pretty solid, they can go out and put points on the board but by the end of the 2nd inning the pitchers put the offense in a bad situation because they are down a run or two. It is hard to hit when you are down a couple of runs. If the Braves pitching doesn't step it up, I think they will have a hard chance making the post season.

I think it's more of a not so good bullpen, they do have John Smoltz and Tim Hudson, they have the second most bullpen losses in the MLB since the All-Star break.

Tajke into consideration that Atlanta's starters don't eat many innings and I believe Atlanta only has one...1....complete game by the starting pitching. The bullpen is still not healthy, so hopefully this team can get back on track, but even the bats are having a difficult time staying healthy.
