Thanks for posting the Game Thread tonight HMFFL. I was wondering if you guys would like to play the game like in the Cubs forums. Whoever makes the game threads for that night and lets say the Braves win, then you keep on making the game threads until the Braves lose. Then when they do lose another person posts the game thread. I think it would be cool to do that. Keep track of records and stuff like that.

It's simple...we win this series, we have a chance, we lose this series, our season has come to an end.

Tonights Game: September 10th.

Shea Stadium | 7:10 PM ET

Tim Hudson, RHP (15-7, 3.47)
Braves (73-70) @

Oliver Perez, LHP (13-9, 3.46)
Mets (81-61)

Scouting Report:

Braves: Hudson appeared to be on his way to dropping his third straight start on Wednesday afternoon against the Phillies before the Braves scored seven runs in the final two innings to prevail. The right-hander wasn't sharp, but managed to keep the damage to a relative minimum, allowing five runs but allowing 13 baserunners on 11 hits and two walks. Hudson hadn't allowed a combination of runners that high since allowing 10 hits with three walks in a loss to the same Philadelphia club on May 25. Hudson's two straight losses have followed an eight-game winning streak. Hudson lasted five innings Wednesday, tied for his shortest outing since July 29. He has been unable to pitch into the seventh inning in five of his last six starts.

Mets: Perez has given up exactly five walks in each of his last three starts, going 2-1 in that span with the only loss by one run at Philadelphia on Aug. 29. He is 5-4 in 10 career appearances against Atlanta, including 3-1 in four starts this season. He lasted just five innings while giving up 10 hits and six runs in his most recent appearance against the Braves, New York's 7-3 loss at Shea Stadium on Aug 7. The good news from that start was he didn't walk anybody.

I waited for you to make one, but I figured it can't wait any longer, so I made it before I became busy. (not that it's much)

Yea it isn't much but still. Do you want to play the game that whoever makes the game thread and the Braves win then they still making them until they win? I think it would be fun if we get alot of people making the threads. Cav-Titan-Cub probably will play, and HMFFL and me.

I'm game

I must admit, I don't give the game threads my all, because I'm burned out on it. I do believe they are a must.

I've been dead since doing nearly all of the game threads for the Atlanta Hawks board over the past two years.

I don't think there are enough active posters on this board to do that.

Glad to see us win big last night.

Buddy didn't even last until the 5th inning (no big shocker here), but our offense kept us from losing the game. It would be nice if we could win the series tonight.
