Scouting Reports:
Marlins:
Despite matching his career high of 10 strikeouts, Kim had to settle for no decision in a Sept. 12 start against the Nationals at home. Kim gave up four runs in 5 2/3 innings. The no-decision snapped a string of wins in three straight decisions. On Aug. 28, Kim beat the Braves, tossing one inning of relief. He is 8-3 as a Marlin. Kim also struck out 10 on Aug. 1 in a win over the Rockies. The right-hander has had one start last as long as six innings in his past 10 appearances.
Braves:
Smoltz has yielded three earned runs or fewer in each of his past eight starts and still has just three wins during that span. He limited the Mets to two earned runs in six innings on Wednesday and got a no-decision. The 40-year-old veteran has been encouraged with the pitch quality he's displayed over the past three starts. He's recently displayed a two-seam fastball that has allowed him to increase his total of groundouts. He is 0-1 with a 3.75 ERA in two starts against the Marlins this year.

Well...our season is over, and all that's left now is pride, and the looking foward of next season.

The Braves need to take the shutout momentum from Tim Hudson into this series coming up with the Florida Nationals. John Smoltz will most likely throw a great game for the Braves, like usuall and they should come out with the win.

We gave up too many runs, but we have to take it one win at a time from here on out.

Finally over 500 during the last 10 games. It's been awhile since I last saw this!

Philly looks like they can't be beat but it's taking extra innings against the Cards.

Colorado beat LA twice today

Wash beat New York

Cincinnati beat Chicago

San Diego is beating Pitt

For the most part Atlanta won at the right time and had some wild card help.
