Andruw Jones still hoping to stay in Atlanta

Post#1 » by HMFFL » Tue Sep 18, 2007 5:01 am

"If they want me here, I'll be here," Jones said. "It just depends on what the Braves want to do."

Really AJ, how low are you willing to go?

"That's the way the Braves always deal with free agency," he said. "We'll have to see what happens. Hopefully, they'll come up with something. Maybe it will happen, maybe it won't."

I think its a forgone conclusion he's gone, and I expect to see him in a Yankee's uniform next year.

I am hoping so bad that Andruw comes back to Atlanta. I know he is having a bad year but comeon, the guy has been putting hope solid numbers his whole entire career.

Also he is my favorite player so I would be very upset to have him leave Atlanta.

I hate when players say it is up to the team whether they stay or goes. No it isn't, they offer and you feel you are worth more so you leave the team then say that the former team didn't try hard enough.

I hope he goes.
1. We save money
2. We get someone in the lineup who can hit the ball consistently.
