Will Braves Be competitive....

from here on out or do you all think that Cox will start playing rookies with an eye towards next year. You guys still have a shot, albeit slim.
The popular opinion here is that Cox will lay down for the Phills. I hope not..
Thoughts?

Well the Braves have not been mathematically eliminated, so um...duh?
There would be no reason for Cox, nor any coach, to call it quits on a season when there are 9 games left and their team still has an outside shot of making the playoffs.
This should be common knowledge. If/when the Braves get eliminated - sure, he'll probably rest some of the players here and there. But right now? You've got to be kidding me man.

I don't think there is anyway he is going to play rookies. Spring training is a time to play rookies but not at the end of September. Bobby Cox is to competitive to play rookies this time of year.

If laying down means the Mets miss the playoffs then I'm all for it. Oh course, I hate the Phillies almost as much.
