Quietly, Matt Diaz has worked himself into an everyday role in left field for the Braves over the past week or so. It has something to do with Willie Harris' struggles at the plate and Diaz's hitting ability

I think it is an advantage to us to have Matt Diaz playing left-field. In my opinion he has a way better power than Willie which we need help on our offense to produce runs night in night out. A disadvantage of having Matt Diaz in left is that he is not quick at all and I like watching Willie run the bases. Having guys that can run on base helps a club out tremendously.
