"You want to be known as an all-around player," Jones said. "I know people know that I can hit. It's no secret that's what got me to the big leagues and that's what's kept me here. I've had some good defensive seasons and I've had some bad defensive seasons. But I think if you get one Gold Glove, people start to respect you as a pretty good defensive player as well."
"My range has been back because my feet and my legs have been healthy," Jones said. "I've made the routine play most of the time and I've made the plays to my left and my right pretty well."
What a year it would be for Chipper if he wins the batting title and adds a gold glove to his trophy case.
