id gladly give ramirez, we already have 2 or 3 other guys who can be or are just as good as him.

plus ive heard that he might end up moving from catcher. maybe DH or 3b? i doubt he'd play 1st b/c he's 5'11.

2 positives about laird, he's great at bunting, he's great at throwing runners out. i was surprised he struggled so much at the plate last year but id gladly give him up, mainly b/c id rather have crisp then way overpay for hunter

Teagarden is definitely target #1. I really like the kid and I think he's transition perfectly to sending Captain Clutch to the pasture. Ramirez is a few years behind so I worry about needing to extend Tek another year or two, which Theo sounds OK with.

Who's playing first for Texas stud? mahalo

last year it was a platoon mainly w/brad wilkerson (probably is gone though) and saltalamacchia. frank catalanatto played there some too.

i think the rangers want salty to be a catcher but he struggled defensively and w/teagarden in AA and ramirez in high A (though he should be promoted too) he might be the 1st baseman for the future. i think his power is developing so he could be a 1st baseman.

it probably depends on what they do with laird, maybe it was a rumor or someone spouting there mouth but i thought i saw somewhere we might be interested in kevin millar.

Crisp will be moved. I will be shocked if he isn't. I really don't think (and hope )we'll trade Ellsbury.
