What's the deal with him saying he wants to leave Boston? He's got 8 years remaining on a fairly nice contract. That doesn't strike me as right.

Bregman's probably got more range and has expressed a willingness to play 2nd, so that part makes sense to me, but I think the undercurrent is that the Sox might be looking at moving him while he's still good. Bregman has opt-outs and could be resigned so the Sox could be looking at a switch, which might be why Devers is unhappy. At least, that's my guess.

That said, he's been paid. I think he should shut up and cash his checks, even if Boston is looking to trade him.
Trump is going after Harvard, because he hates the educated. What Trump doesn't realize is that Harvard is here to stay and he is not. 20 years from now, Harvard will be a top university, while Trump will just be a stain on American history.

Devers came into camp fat and out of shape. So he shouldnt have been “blindsided” by being asked to DH. He also has 2 eyes, and should know that Bregman playing 3B is better for THE TEAM, as that gives them the best chance to win games. He’s a GG winning 3B, and Devers is….. not even close.

At the end of the day, his job is to help Boston win baseball games. Its not like he has to worry about making errors if he tries a new position. They arent sending him to the minors or putting him on the bench. He has already made generational wealth. STFU and do what the manager asks of you…. Ffs

Its incredibly selfish. If he was a first time free agent to be, and it would hurt his value, sure. But not after they paid you the amount they did.
