I wonder why Mike moved Kotchman to the 8th spot.

Granted, he just allowed a solo homer to give the Angels the lead, but I was pretty impressed by Hansen. This was the first time in his career I've seen that "nasty slider" scouts had talked about and he was throwing some serious heat. He'll probably throw another inning, I'm interested in seeing how it goes.

Garland is really struggling for us so far this season, good thing we are winning. Matthews Jr. is having a great gaem.

Masterson just struck out which looks to be his last guy of the day. Great way to go out. He was awesome, threw every pitch he had too.

Gosh, that 11-3 GO/AO ratio is sexy.

His slider was also quite a bit better than I've heard it advertised. It wasn't as consistent as I'd like, but he ripped off a few real nasty ones. All I need to see is 1 start to realize he's already better than Jon Lester, especially since we know he has better control than he showed. Very nice debut.

Good stuff for your first MLB start... actually pretty nasty!

Wow, the Red Sox have some kind of future...

What a pathetic job by the bullpen. 4 runs allowed and loading the bases before even recording an out.

A little magic, but too little too late. YAY JAVIER LOPEZ!

Lopez is my 2nd least favorite player... only after Lugo. Pathetic showing from the 'pen, ruining a good outing for Masterson. At least I got the win in FBB from Saunders.
