Clay Buchholz is paying for Daisuke Matsuzaka's lucky BABIP.
Dice: 5 IP, 2 hits, 1 K (8 BB's) vs. Tigers and a .189 BABIP on the year.
Clay: 4 IP (so far), 10 hits, 6 K's (1 BB) vs. the Tigers and a .308 BABIP coming into tonight. Too lazy to figure out what it is on the year including these 4 innings, but it's obviously a lot higher now.

Lugo is a **** piece of ****. I'd be okay if it was a legit error, but it was on a routine DP ball. This coming right after Lugo doesn't charge hard and let's their DH get an infield single. And to make matter worse I had Clay starting on my fantasy team as well as Paps. Figured if I didn't get the win, at least I'll get a save. But nope, of course not. Lugo ruins the day yet again.

What a horrible way to lose a game where their offense was so ballsy and kept coming back. An infield single, an error by Lugo and a bloop just over Lugo's head.
Agreed. Inexcusable to lose that way. I can't believe he'd even want to show his face in the clubhouse after this one. What a stinker, especially since they battled back to take the lead.
And the Sox shortstop woes since 2003 continue...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
