ALDS Sox vs Angels: BEAT LA

Post#1 » by greenbeans » Mon Sep 29, 2008 4:29 pm

Game 1: @LAA Wed Oct.1 10:00pm Jon Lester vs John Lackey

Game 2: @LAA Fri Oct.3 9:30pm Daisuke Matsuzaka vs Ervin Santana

Game 3 @BOS Sun Oct 5 time tba Josh Beckett(God, If you're out there...) vs Joe Saunders

Game 4* @BOS Mon Oct 6 time tba Jon Lester vs John Lackey (last time they won a series on my bday was '03 against Oakland with D-Lowe and his "gestures")

Game 5* @LAA Wed Oct 8 time tba Daisuke Matsuzaja vs Ervin Santana
*If necessary

I'm so ready for the playoffs, always a good time. Two best AL teams, imo, going at it in the first round, should be all sorts of fun. We'll just have to see what type of team the Sox are running out there, Lowell? Youk? Drew? slumping Jed? Beckett? The national media better be prepared to get to know Cora(big time cringe).BEAT LA. AGAIN.

Alex Cora better not play in this series.

I have a feeling we'll get rolled in this series. The Angels just have our number this year, although we always seem to dominate them in the playoffs. My gut says Angels in 4, my heart says Sox in 4.

Game 1 to us, to my slight surprise. Games are too late. 10 freaking o'clock. I get up at 5, so I miss most of it. A nice little thing to wake up to though.

Go to bed at 1:30 wake up at 6:00 yay. Ah well I'll just be a zombie today, but hey atleast the Sox won.

Lester really pitched a gem. Big homerun from Bay. And Ellsbury with a huge game too.

Really surprised that Casey didn't hit for Cora last night. Casey has had his struggles with Weaver (1 for 7), but he still the superior hitter and needs to be up at that spot.
