Coco Crisp
This is the last year of Coco Crisp's contract and it is still yet to be seen if he will remain a member of the Red Sox. In my opinion unless he starts putting up some sort of offensive numbers before the end of the season, the Red Sox should let him go and replace him with such free agent outfielders as Ichiro and Torii Hunter. I don't know what it is but I haven't been impressed with what I have seen from Coco since he joined the Sox. He just isn't the same player that he was on Cleveland.

Crisp is signed through 2009 at about 5.16 million a season.
I think his offense will be fine. I've been really impressed with his defense this season. I think he's finally comfortable in CF after spending the majority of his career as a LF.
He's more than doubled his season batting average in like 10 games.

Crisp is playing well lately. I'm a big supporter of giving WMP playing time though.
Still, having Crisp, Cora and Lugo at the end or the top of the lineup gives the Sox a completely new dimension. Opponents have to think about bunts, hit and runs, stolen bases and all that. This opportunity to play small ball makes the Sox batting order much more dangerous...

"The guy is an idiot," Pedroia said regarding Cabrera. "I dropped my bat. It kind of freaked me out. I was upset they took him out of the game. He is good to hit. He's 9-15. The guy [stinks]."
