Does anyone else think that it's crazy the way people are basically considering the Red Sox a lock to win the division? The AL east is a tough division. I have a lot of confidence in this team but I don't consider them a lock especially considering we haven't even had any serious injuries yet. I'm 90% sure they're a playoff team but I just think it's a bit to early to consider them a lock. Toronto and new york are always on the back of my mind.

Not really. One-third of the lineup is playing at a level that is just so unbelievably low that it can't continue much longer. Crisp, Lugo and Drew will not hit this poorly all season long.
Perhaps not a lock, but a combination of horrible injuries, and everything (EVERYTHING) clicking right for Toronto or New York needs to happen. You just aren't going to go on many losing streaks with Beckett, Schilling and Matsuzaka.
Right now the Red Sox have a ~94% chance of making the playoffs.
