Daisuke has a pretty good start. Led off the game with 3 walks to load bases with 0 outs but got out of it only allowing 1 run. Then he dominated the next 5 innings and is in line to get the win as the Sox lead 2-1 with Papelbon about to come in. Matsuzaka's final line:
6 IP, 5 hits, 5 walks, 9 K's, 1 run and 126 pitches.
Tomorrow's matchup favors SD as it is Chris Young vs. Wakefield. 10:05 PM EST start.
Sunday's game may end up on ESPN classic for years when you just look at the pitching matchup (probably won't live up to the hype, but one can hope...); Jake Peavy vs. Josh Beckett. Amazingly enough, ESPN wasn't smart enough to make it the Sunday Night game of the week- 4:05 PM EST start.

Yeah I don't know what the hell was going on last night. Theres not much discussion on these games because no one is around to see them. I hate when they go out west. Yeah you can play baseball at 10 PM so no one can see the games. You can baseball in the woods too.
Hopefully they can take the rubber game of the series this afternoon. Looks like an All-Star game starters preview here. Peavy is just absolutely filthy this year. Should be fun to watch.
