Man, if Coco can turn it around it would really change this team. I had completely written him off.

If he could catch fire and become the leadoff man we need that would be huge

3 homeruns in the past 3 games, with room for another today. These threads are working wonders.

He hit the ball very nicley in the Seattle Series. I'm excited. He's a very flashy player. If he can play this well for a full season, i think he'll would have a .300 average, hit 15 home runs, and steal 40 bases. He is the leadoff man. Screw Lugo

Worth a shot indeed, over the past month his average has been .375 with an OPS over 1.000, several triples, and of course that big 4 for 5 night last night.

Average up to .284 on the year. I'll take it.

Coco Crisp your new number 5 hitter for the Boston Red Sox. Although I'm sure this is just a one time thing.

Coco

Coco will bring good value in trade during the offseason. There will be a lot of teams looking for CF this year and we will have one of the more valuable trading chips in a young, productive, inexpensive option.

What will we target in a trade for Coco?

A catching prospect stud to take over for varitek in 2-3 years? A slugging prospect to take over for Manny? Both?

Maybe young pitching, you can never have enough. especially if we trade a Bowden type in the next week for Teixeira.

Get er' done! I would be much more comfortable with a Drew sucks thread then a CoCo thread. CoCo has had his up and downs, but overall for the price he is playin pretty dang well. Unless Boston gets a payroll like the D*** Yankees, Damon is obviously going to follow the big $$$
