I don't feel like making 2 different series threads in consecutive days so here you can discuss the finale vs. Oakland then the 4 game series vs. the Twins. Lester looked great in the 1st. 12 strikes on 13 pitches, K'd the side. He's pitching against Joe Blanton and the A's.

Tomorrow is Beckett against the Twins and Scott Baker.
Then Slowey/Dice-K.
Then Wakefield/Silva.
Then Garza vs. maybe Schilling; depending on what is to gain by winning that last game/whether Schilling wants rest or to stay sharp more.

Oh, and another K by Lester. 4 thru 1 1/3 IP. Too bad his BAPIP is 1.000 on 2 balls in play so far.
