Liverpool fans may have mixed feelings about exchanging one set of American owners for another after it emerged the Premier League club was about to be sold to the New England Sports Ventures (NESV), owners of baseball's Boston Red Sox.

I brought this up a couple of weeks ago, asking about the quality of the owners of the Sox. Presumably they are a lot more trustworthy than the incumbents. Am I right in saying that they have renovated Fenway in the last few five or so years?

Yeah and they also brought two Championships to Boston, the first in 86 years.
