Playoff picture as of september 17

Just beat the Yankees 3rd straight victory.

Got another game tomorrow against Yankees, both the Orioles and BlueJays play tonight.

With 14 games to go, we have another series @ Orioles (4 games), @Yankees (3 games) and 3 against BlueJays on Fenway.

Think we can beat Cleveland, still can have home field advantage. Then Texas in the ALCS, Washington and Cubs in the NLCS, Cubs in 5.

Hope Ortiz retires a champion!

Red Sox clinched at playoff spot, at least a wild card!

Need to finish one game ahead of the Rangers to have home field advantage up to the world series.

Red Sox won the A.L east.

We let the Yankees win 2 games because Price pitched horribly in the 1st game, and in the 2nd game Kimbrel walked 4 guys in the 9th inning. Kelly struck out 2 but they hit a walk off 4 run homer on the 2nd night.

In the 3rd game we sat all our starters.

Still have a chance to win the AL but Texas is ahead of us.
