Tim Wakefield really needs to apologize to all the position players for killing their parents.

Jesus, score some runs for the guy.

WOW, big win with Santana going for the Twins tomorrow!!!

Great pitching performance by all the Red Sox last night. Wake was great and so was the pen.

Now lets go beat up on Santana.

OK heres a thought. Torii Hunter is on a one year contract. David Ortiz has been missed here in Minnesota. Manny Ramirez is not a very good outfielder.

What about a trade around Torii and a top prospect or two for David Ortiz. It moves Crisp to left, Ramirez to DH, and gives Boston a gold glove centerfielder.

It also brings Papi back to Minnesota and gives us a DH we've needed for a while.

Thanks for the good laugh klomp. Ortiz is not going anywhere.

You're welcome. Thought I'd try. What if Liriano was included?

No. Throw in a reasonably priced Johan Santana. Liriano may never throw a meaningful pitch again.

Torii Hunter sucks so hard relative to how he is perceived.

BTW, what the **** got into Julian Tavarez? 7 K, 2 ER in 6 IP? I'm slightly impressed. Too bad they had to play against Santana on Tavarez' career day.

So we get Tori Hunter who may be with us for less then a year before we have to give him huge bucks or lose him, for a David Ortiz?

Face it, the Twins made a dumb move by getting rid of him. The only way youre getting him back is if hes's 36-38 with bad knees and wants to sign a one year low money contract

It really wasn't as much a "dumb" move as it was a bad move. Ortiz really wasn't all that good when he was a Twinkie, he had a lot of holes in his swing. There is a reason why he was getting squeezed for playing time when he first got here with Jeremy Giambi, Kevin Millar, and Shea Hillenbrand. mahalo
