jeez, I was just having fun with the topic...why even bring it up...we're at a point in baseball when you can't get into the mindset of feeling bad for a franchise other than your own. I mean 27 or 28 teams cant financially compete with us or the Yankees and arguably the Mets too. If you start thinking about the Royals fans or the A's fans, Orioles fans....and so on it can really start to take away from the enjoyment of the game....but feeling sorry for the Yankees??? I mean commmmme on.......

yes, the orioles or blue jays deserve to have a chance to fight for the playoffs....its been a decade or more since they've been in the playoffs, it might make for an interesting story

Neither team "deserves" the chance. If it weren't for the Royals, the Orioles would have been the most poorly-run franchise of the past 50 years. And Toronto's Toronto.

The Blue Jays are as injured as my fantasy teams and the Oreos have no business in a discussion for a division title. If the Sox go .500 the rest of the way, either team would have to play .625 ball to even GET BACK into the race, let alone gain a lead. The only team that stands a chance of POSSIBLY eating into that lead in the Yankees. They have all-stars at every position and some good starters. They are the only team to worry about in the division. mahalo
