David Ortiz hits lefties really well. But I think the plan is to get Youkilis, Ortiz and Lowell a day off in each of these games. At least that is what I would do.

After a disheartening loss to the Braves in the opener of this three-game series, the Red Sox will gladly hand the ball to Josh Beckett, who has been their stopper this season.
In fact, Beckett is coming off his lone poor outing of the season, a 7-1 loss to the Rockies.
The Red Sox will need Beckett to be back in top form in this one when you consider that the Braves will counter with Tim Hudson, one of the best pitchers in the National League.
Aside from trying to wash away the sour taste of his own shaky outing, Beckett wants to get his team back on track after Curt Schilling was rocked in Monday night's opener.
David Ortiz will be back in the Boston lineup in this one after taking a breather in the opener. With no DH, Big Papi will start at first base.
Pitching matchup
BOS: RHP Josh Beckett (9-1, 3.39 ERA)
For the first time this season, Beckett is coming off a bad start. Matter of fact, for the first time this season, Beckett is coming off a loss. He was pounded by the Rockies for 10 hits and six runs over five innings on Thursday. Beckett is 5-7 lifetime against the Braves with a 2.62 ERA. Beckett beat the Braves in Atlanta last year, going six innings while allowing three hits and two earned runs.
ATL: RHP Tim Hudson (6-4, 3.25 ERA)
Hudson limited the Twins to just two hits over 7 1/3 scoreless innings on Thursday night and only exited because of what he deemed minor stiffness in his neck. The right-hander, who has won just one of his past six starts, was downright dominant, allowing his outfielders to record just five of his 22 outs. He'll be looking to exorcise some demons against the Red Sox, who tagged him for six earned runs over just 4 2/3 innings May 20. He is 3-8 with a 6.22 ERA in 11 career starts against them.
Player to watch
Ortiz, who got the night off on Monday, will be back in the lineup and start at first base. Ortiz has homered just twice in his first 50 at-bats in June.
