7/12

Halladay (109 IP, 3.75 xFIP, 4.46 ERA) v. Wakefield (106.2 IP, 5.14 xFIP, 4.39 ERA)

7/13

Marcum (82 IP, 4.3 xFIP, 3.62 ERA) v. Tavarez (88.2 IP, 4.58 xFIP, 4.97 ERA)

7/14

McGowan (71.2 IP, 4.1 xFIP, 4.65 ERA) v. Matsuzaka (119.2 IP, 3.89 xFIP, 3.85 ERA)

7/15

Litsch (24.2 IP, 5.4 xFIP, 4.74 ERA) v. Beckett (102 IP, 3.59 xFIP, 3.44 ERA)

Beckett and Matsuzaka will duke it out for the Cy Young in the second half. Dumb voters will see that they both are amazing and instead of voting for one of them, will vote for Dan Haren who will fall off tremendously in the second half.

I expect a sweep. 20 games up by the time the Red Sox play the Yankees again. Halladay got roughed up in the first game, which was looking like the toughest game of the series.

Good win. I'll be at Saturday's game.

Also, MDC is a bad, bad man.

I don't know why we are hitting Halladay so well this year. Hopefully the Sox can comeback and win game 2 in the 9th
