Romero and Piniero finally got the boot, and when Donnely returns from the DL, our bullpen will be money. We will have quality and quanitity. Depth is a key thing to have in a bullpen, and we will have it. Paps is lights out as closer. Okajima is dominant as the 8th inninng guy. Timlin/Donnely can be the 7th inning guy. Delcarmen add depths to that slot as well. Tavarez is long relief and a situational guy if you need a guy to get a groundout with runners on base. Snyder is mop up man. I think Timlin is still good because now he doesn't have to pitch 5 times a week, now its down to three, so we keep him fresh. We don't have a left-handed specialist really, Lopez has struggeled recently, and could be back down to Triple A once Donnely is activated. But, who cares, the BP rocks!

Snyder has to have the lowest ERA of any mop up man I've ever heard of.

He's Kyle Snyder. He's had a surprisngly great year those far, but how many times has he come in a key situation and gotten us out of a tight situation this year? I can't even name 3 times. Eventually your averages catch up with you.

Snyder does HIS ROLE perfectly. With Timlim, Delcarman, Okajima and papelbon, we do not need Snyder to get key outs. We need him to come in and do damage control for 2-3 innings. This is what he has done quite well.

Absolutely, I couldn't agree more that our pen is golden right now. We need to find us a couple more bats, but the pen is nice... very nice.
