donnelly having tommyjohn

I kept wondering why earlier in the season Francona was only sending Donnelly in for a 1/3rd or 2/3rds of an inning even when he didn't give up a run or even a hit and had one of the lowest ERA's on the team.
I absolutley want Donnely resigned again because if he was pitching this good with such a serious injury then he must be a pretty tough bastard. Also he kept the seriousness of the injury a secret so Gagnes value didn't go up when the Rangers found out the sox were losing a key part of their bullpen.
