Tampa Bay @ Boston, 8/13, 8/14, 8/15

Game 1: Wakefield {13-10} Shields {9-7}
Game 2: Lester {1-0} Kazmir {9-7}
Game 3: Matsuzaka {13-8} Sonnanstine {1-8}

If Boston wins less than two games in this series, there's no way they win the division.

And even if they do, they won't deserve it.

Terrible.

Deserve has nothing to do with it.

Sweep the hell out of these bums.

Kazmir will dominate the Sox, like he always does.

Kazmir sure has had it going since the All-Star break. Even if he has a good outing they just need to make him work try and get him out early. That way they get to beat up on the very very bad Dray pen.

Will be nice to see Lester finally pitch at home this season. I'm sure he'll get quite the standing O.

Nice job tonight by Wakefield, he sure does dominate the Drays.

Good game, Wakefield just owns the living hell out of the Rays. Frustrating to watch, especially since Shields kept the Rays in the game with a solid outing despite not having his usual control.

Kaz needs to win tomorrow, because he have no chance of winning the third game of the series. Sonnanstine/Dice-K is a ridiculously horrible mismatch.

Very good performance by Wakefield.

On a side note, remember that game against the Devil Rays in like 2001 where he pitched literally 8 2/3 of hitless innings, before giving up like four runs? LOL, we still won that game 5-4. I was worrying around the seventh inning today that such would later unfold, given that we're in a slump and things like that tend to happen when we're in them.

Keep the wins coming, baby.

Rays will win tonight.

Kazmir has had great command his last six starts.

He just needs some runs........

Scott Kazmir is such a douchebag. I'm really sick of him owning us all the time.

Relax, Glover is in.

Glover is OK when he throws strikes early in the count.

But therein lies the problem.

Sure has been quite some time between walk off wins. Great at bats from Lowell, Tek, and Coco.

Great job by Lester tonight. Nice to see Gagne settle right back in after giving up a double too.

Very nice win.

Kazmir has owned everyone since the AS break. That's one ER in his last 25 innings after tonight.

And the Rays offense is just pitiful. Second straight excellent game from Tampa pitching, and the offense does absolutely nothing.

VERY nice win

It was funny to see the team celebrate around Coco Crisp and get his hair even more messed up in the process.

Also, props to Mike Lowell, what a homerun. That pitch was way inside but he just swatted at it and it went over everything.

I agree, this win seemed to right a lot of wrongs. Come from behind victory, re-establish gange's confidence, etc. very key... and the yanks got killed lol

Sonnanstein is going to be in this league a long time.

He's still learning to pitch, and has had many bad breaks from a bad team.

Nothing new Sox don't hit guys they haven't seen. Almost stole one today, overall took 2 of 3.

Actually, I thought that Reyes was gonna get hammered by Ramirez.

Reyes velocity is not right since his time on the DL.

I was saying that was the reason the starter had success against the Sox. Ramirez took some good swings against Reyes, he just went after a bad pitch.
