What do you guys expect from Jacoby this upcoming season? He had a great run in the playoffs and seems fit to the be leadoff guy all season. With Coco Crisp still in the mix what do you guys envision being Ellsbury's full year stats and how does he fit in the wtih the ballclub int he short term?

Leadoff hitter with tons of SB, runs, and a surprising number of HRs. Ellsbury has an uppercut to his swing which, in time, will lead to more HRs than his minor league numbers indicated. He still chops at the ball alot and his speed allows him to beat out those weak hits. He showed some surprising power during his brief time in Boston and while that stat-line may be too high, he still should have a pretty decent line. I like his 75% PECOTA projetion:.309/.370/.476 with 31 doubles, 7 triples, 7 HRs, 88 runs, 52 RBIS, and 33 SBs. I think those latter 3 stats could be inflated a bit. Depending on how Lugo bounces back, his RBI total could increase, if he is leading off he will score mroe than 88 runs, and I could easily see him stealing 40 bases with a .370 OBP. I think eventually, with his swing, he could settle into 15-20 HR range durng his peak but a BA around .300 seems easily reachable this year. mahalo

so how does crisp affect these numbers? Will they split time? Is he the leadoff guy to start hte year and stay there all year you think? If he plays all season those are the numbers you envision?
