Please do us a favor and release him. He has no use on this club and we have options in the minors who are much better at the moment. Otherwise when Clay comes back, replace Timlin with Wakefield.
No room for that 7 ERA on this team

Well looks like you got the next best thing. To the DL with Timlin. I highly doubt he's hurt, this is just a way to see if he can get it going some how. Timlin has done a lot for the Red Sox, so I guess one more shot can't hurt. But they need to let him go if this keeps on going.

Timlin would look pretty good right now the way Delcarmen and Hansen are "pitching"
Where are all the newer threads on this board???

Realgm had some issues when they turned the site over. So the older threads moved to the top for the other sports. Not sure if they are able to fix it or not.

Why is this guy still on the roster? Comes in last night, with 2 on and gives up a bomb. Lester couldn't have done worse. Complete waste of a roster spot. Should be brought out back and ....well you know.

Timlin actually had a very good July 1.17 ERA 0.78 WHIP and .185 BAA. And since the All-Star break his era is 2.16 in very limited work.
But with that I'd still like to keep him around, as I don't think he's a waste of a roster spot. He really picked it up last year after the break so maybe he can do it again. Also with Aardsma and Delcarmen struggling it really doesn't seem to make sense either.
