Well looks like we will be close to tied with them at the break. Any predicitions for the second half? Both have pretty solid ball clubs at this point. Their offense is going bonkers in that new stadium. Our pitching seems to be pretty solid especially the bullpen. The clear cut best two teams in the American League... back to being the way it was circa 03-04...

Meanwhile, those Rays seem to be making a run... at least the Jays are all but gone below .500.

Will they be able to stay healthy is the big question. We've been able to compile this record with some significant injuries.

I can't wait til they try and put Phil goddamn Hughes on the mound in the 8th come Sept/Oct against the Sox. That oughta be a riot. Coke too.
Yankees have been playing A-ball to get where they are now, the Sox most certainly haven't. I think by the middle of August is when there should be a decent amount of games between us and number 2, whether it's Tampa or the mfy.

My question... Why is Phil Hughes in the bullpen and Joba Chamberlain in the rotation? Do they enjoy getting it ass backwards, or is there a reason?
