Over on another cubs board a guy said he has *sources* (I hate when they cant say the sources) that after watching replays of the game in HD you can see a dark spot on the right side of Brandon Webbs bill of his cap. I mean his stuff was real sick last night, and I dont want to just excuse the cubs not being able to hit last night but if this ended up being true this would be something big.
I'm not sure what would happen to the game but this is definatly something to think about even if it is a rumor.

Pointless discussion. Even if there was something on his hat, which there is not, it would have to be brought up during the game.
If you want to talk about Bush league, let's discuss the 50 year old moron behind the plate with the clock and the sweet gold chain. This dumbass was waving to the camera for 2 innings while on his cell phone earlier in the game. He also held up a sign that said "Hi Mom" for another inning. That guy should be kicked in the balls, repeatedly.

It doesn't matter now. If he was doing something wrong then he got away with it, more power to him. If they spot it the next time he throws then they should consider having the ump check it out.
I don't think there is anything to the story, but I also have yet to see a good picture that shows anything. Webb made the Cub hitters look silly last night... and we lost. Whether or not he had any help, at this point, is meaningless.
