It's not on TV. We are going old school listening to the radio.

Theriot, Fukudome, Fontenot, Lee, and Pie all had great games today. Not to mention Kevin Hart.

You know, with all of the trade rumors and closer debate, I forgot about Kevin Hart for a while.

I just finsished looking at the box score... Did we really bat that well?

If so, thats amazing for the first spring training game. Usually pitchers are light years ahead and batters wiff and wiff and wiff.

I had no way of listening to this game. I'm glad we hit so well (yeah yeah it's a spring game I know. Theriot's 3 for 3 is very promising as was Pie's good performance.

I forgot to give credit to Jose Ascanio who pitched 1 inning and gave up no hits. Could be a great addition to our bullpen and we got him for crap.

The Cubs face a split squad of Giants again on Friday, this time at Mesa's HoHoKam Park. Cubs ace Carlos Zambrano will oppose Giants left-hander Jonathan Sanchez. The other half of Giants will stay at home to face Erik Bedard and the Seattle Mariners. Tim Lincecum will start for San Francisco.

I would like to see Zambrano duel Bedard for 3 innings, but whatever. Split squad games give more time for the young guys to impress the coaches for a roster spot.
