I mean, what the hell. We traded Cedeno and Pie for Aaron Heilman? Terrible.

Jimbo is back.

I cant believe he traded Olson for Heilman. This trade was great till I found out who the pitcher was.

I guess will trade Marshall and Vitters too.

Wow I like Heilman, but not at that price tag.

This means Marshall is heading to San Diego.

I'm disappointed that Heilman was all we could get for Cedeno and Olson. I thought Cedeno had more value than Pie.

You can pretty much say goodbye to any Peavy talks. Both Cedeno and Olson would have been good pieces.

Heilman has some nasty stuff and could be one of our best arms if he gets back to his old form.

Off the top of my head-

Marmol
Gregg
Heilman
Samardzija
Cotts
Wuertz
Gaudin
Vizcaino

Zambrano
Dempster
Harden
Lilly
Likely Marshall

13

Soriano
Gathwright
Fukudome
Bradley
Lee
Miles
Fontenot
Theriot
Ramirez
Soto
Backup C
Johnson

12

You might have to take in the possibility of Jimbo acquiring a backup 1B/3B like Aurillia.

This is Jimbo at his finest.

Posey - do not forget Angel Guzman who is a GOD. If the guy can stay healthy he's going to be a boost like Marmol was a few years ago when he debuted in the pen. Not quite as good as Marmol was, but still very good.

Jimbo cant get anything right.

Trade the 2 of the most popular cubs for prospects and Gregg. Then trades our busted #1 prospect for another busted top prospect. Finally to make room for Paul Bako he flips that prospect and Cedeno.

Lets give up the whole farm for Peavy, it nots like any of them are gonna pan out.

Why is triple chin Jim so insistent on converting relievers into starters and vice versa? Shark, Cashner, Jay Jackson, Heilman, Guzman are all relievers, there best potential is there, stop trying to change them. Marshall is a starter. Choose whether he will be one or not, if not trade him for Peavy and dont give up Vitters no matter what.
