Get pumped guys. We have 9 in a row on the road against the Cardinals, Reds, and Phillies.

It's a 10 game road trip, btw. And I can't envision this team winning any more then 3 games on the trip by the time the Brewers come to Wrigley on the 13th.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Cubs are riding a 13 game losing streak when they return to Chicago.

6 in a row and climbing up the Fecal League Standings. I want that #1 pick in 2012 Cubs.

We got the Reds next and they are throwing Reineke/Leake/Arroyo. I could see the Cubs winning one of those games, but more likely the Cubs will be swept. Then off to the Phills where Kendrick/Halladay/Lee and Oswait are waiting. And I know the Cubs (who typically do not play well against the Phillies in the first place) won't beat the Philly.

So guys, the Cubs are literally looking at a 13 game losing streak right in the face. There is a great chance it will happen. SMH. This team is sad to follow. Another year of irrevelent baseball in Chicago.

Yeah I'm actually rooting for losses now and I want to see young guys up here like Brett Jackson. I know the MLB Draft is a crapshoot but winning 66 and getting the #1 pick is better than winning 81 and having false hope again for next year.

In my eyes there are only two spots in sports you want to be: either really good/great or really bad. Do not give me mediocrity. Mediocrity to the Cubs means they think they are a player or two away from being good. Anybody who has seen this team knows the Cubs are at worst 4 players away from being at least good (MI, CF, RF, SP, and maybe 3B). If you can't give me really good, give me really bad, because at least with really bad the only place you can go is up.

As for the draft, they better hit a homerun on Monday. If Wilken does a "surprise pick" again like Simpson I will be convince the Cubs are not committed to winning because they are not committed to restocking their farm with potential impact players.
