Okay that was a fun game. Doug Davis pitched well and Reed Johnson had that fantastic catch. This team is becoming somewhat fun to watch.

And my naive question of the day: Is this play a mirage or is the newfound healthiness making this team better? We should have a decent chance of winning Burnett vs Demp, no?

I think it's just a hot streak. Encouraging that we are beating quality teams though.

Whatever momentum the Cubs had coming out of the Brewer series is completely gone now that Carpenter has given up a 3 run homerun.

Such is the life of the Cubs. Cubs motto, "getting in their own way since 2003."

Even if our season's over already, it is awesome to see bad news for Cardinals or in this case, potentially devastating. Pujols out for at least 4-6 weeks with broken arm. Muwha-ha!
