This is pretty much confirmed given the statements from Theo, Hoyer, Dempster this week. Dempster would not accept the trade to the Braves with a week to go before the deadline...wanted to continue to negotiate with LA...Braves did not want to risk waiting and end up with no one. Dumpster lifted the LA only trade ~15 minutes before the deadline.

When's the last time you heard the name Tony Campana? Not recently, right? Well, in case you haven't been paying close attention, he was sent to Triple-A Iowa on Sunday because of the call-ups of Brett Jackson and Josh Vitters. But when he was playing, Campana was a force to be reckoned with on the bases, and here's a few more reasons why he could be invaluable in the Cubs' future:
