OK, kids, I'm back. I saw the Cubs on Monday, but my view isn't that complete because road teams rarely take a full roster. Soriano was not there. Rich Hill just couldn't throw his curve for strikes, something he has to rely on to be successful. Lee's power still hasn't been found. Ramirez looked pretty good at the plate but brutal on defense. There were about three instances in which he had the ball but just had no idea what to do with it with runners on base. Kept an inning alive for the Brewers single-handedly. Fukudome looked waaaaaay off. Dave Bush's fastball looks faster because of his curve ball, but Fukudome was getting blown away by Bush's fastball. I mean, he looked completely incompetent on Monday.
This game was on TV for you guys though, so whatever. Sucks to be back, it was beautiful there.

Lilly had another shaky outing.

I hope Woody gets the closer job. I like Marmol as our 7th inning guy because last year he always came in during tough situations and got us out of them. He also is effective pitching more than one full inning. If you give up runs earlier in the game then you have more time to get back those runs you gave up. One half of an inning doesn't always do the job.
