Heck of a game so far. Dempster's pitching like the guy who earned the #1 spot, and our offense is alive.

Doesn't he lead the team in homers??

Also why does Quade keep leaving Demp in there for 110+ pitches? He gets left in there one inning too many and teams start teeing off on him.

Wow, talk about leaving Demp out there for a few pitches too many.

Exactly, and now we have to turn to our late inning guys once again, not to mention that Wood blew a lead exactly like this one yesterday.

Cubs win despite Quade trying to let the Astros win.

I thought initially that Q left Dempster out there too long, but I think he was trying to preserve his bullpen as much as possible, because he's going to need them a lot tonight.

James Russell has the start (Will give us 3 or 4 innings at max) vs. Brett Myers, who always gives us trouble.

We'll need a bounce back win tonight for sure. This is a series that we absolutely have to win.

Tonight is Wandy Rodriguez (0-1 6.55) vs. Carlos Zambrano (1-0 5.25).

If our offense doesn't play like they did last night, we can take this series pretty easily. Darwin Barney is making a strong case for being our regular 2B, and the 1-2 punch of Castro and Barney seems to be working pretty well.
