Exactly, they will lose 5-4, but not after loading up the bases with no outs in the top of the 9th.

I was listening to this game on radio and I think Santo's head exploded.
During the run-down he was like GET HIM GET HIM GET HIM and when he was safe he started screaming mindlessly.
