soriano at lead off is hurting the lineup. its taking away steals and the hit and run. we need some freakin runs.

if it was me, my lineup would start as

theriot (patient. finds a way to get on base. makes the pitcher work)
lee (getting his stroke back. usually makes contact. good if theriot on base to set something up)
ramirez (our best hitter. he has to hit in the first inning)
soriano (he is not good at fifth? bat him as cleanup. he wants to swing at everything? at least let him do it w/ potential runners on base)

this will take us to the playoffs, my friends.

I DEFY YOU, STARS!!!!!!!

lous lineup has soriano leading off again. and derosa in the freakin 2 hole.
WTFACK!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????

Another lefty.

Awesome. That means Pie can't get a much deserved start.

Did you see Jacque Jones' at-bat in the 6th inning last night?

I feel bad for Posey H8er who is at this game.
The Cubs may not score 2 runs.

Hey, it will be interesting to see Soto get a start. I guess we're building for next year already.

Like Theriot needs a day off...we've almost lost our 2.5 game lead and Lou keeps resting people. There'll be plenty of time to rest in October at this rate.

I hope you know this ensures a Cubs victory with how you guys are reacting to the lineup

I don't know...the Dodgers have finally realized Matt Kemp is good and are playing him everyday. Putting Shea in there gives us a shot though.

Cedeno's OPS this year is .419

There are a bunch of players with higher OBP's than that.

His OBP is .164.

Rain Delay is St. Louis.
Imagine if that game gets rained out.
They still have a lot of make up games to go this month.

Mmm...I'm enjoying some Mr. Big popsicle thing. It's chock full of deliciousness. I predict it's the best part of the night.
