ESPN has made official a night starting time for the Sunday, June 22, game against the White Sox that concludes the first three-game crosstown series at Wrigley Field. The game will begin at 7:10 p.m.

Thanks for being good White Sox. I remember the last time we played the Sox on Sunday Night Baseball and that was a 4th of July game we won on a walkoff walk. I believe Cotts was the one that blew the game for the Sox but I will look it up.

Looking at our schedule, the next 9 games are all winnable :D

And more good news is we are still 1 game under our Pythagorean record.

Code: Select all

Pythagorean winning percentage is an estimate of a team's winning percentage given their runs scored and runs allowed. Developed by Bill James, it can tell you when teams were a bit lucky or unlucky. It is calculated by

               (Runs Scored)^1.83
---------------------------------------------------------
 (Runs Scored)^1.83 +  (Runs Allowed)^1.83

The traditional formula uses an exponent of two, but this has proven to be a little more accurate.

I'm gonna save my game threads until the end of the season to get a winning streak into the playoffs
