Why can't we just get to the WS at least (its been 62 yrs since the last visit!)?!

I hope Mark Cuban buys this team straight up now.

Winning it at 100 years sounds more poetic anyway. We've waited this long, what is one more year?

Damn Cubs.

as for this whole "who has it worse" dialogue

if you combine the years since the cubs, browns, indians and cavs last won a championship, it adds up to 241 years

I was especially excited being an Illini fan. It was cool having Rev and Dee here for awhile too. Dee was a class guy, really nice and friendly.

Yeah, I am a huge Illini fan too. I actually grew up less than an hour away from U of I and that was my first experience watching basketball. Where I was we were more likely to get a Illini game televised than a Bulls game in the mid to late '80s.

Yeah thats sucks....I feel like Im at a SportsAholic Anonymous meeting.

Hi my name is The Sheik, I have never in my life experienced a championship. The Utes and Illini both lost the title game in bball, the Jazz lost to Jordan. Bears lost the SB and the cubs are happy being losers.

I wish I was as lucky as my friend who was raised a Yankee, Spurs and Arizona Wildcats fan.

Yeah I got to watch Deron, Dee and Head play during the title game run and it was just amazing. I love the atmosphere at assembly hall, I wanted to go to school there but I got a full ride to the UofU. Maybe graduate school.
